We Power the Way by Working Safely Together.
Health and safety are top priorities taken into account as every single project is planned.
Safety at Boys Electrical Contractors is an ongoing dialog. Not only do we require every new hire to attend a comprehensive two-phase orientation ensuring no employee works unprepared, but we also emphasize continuing extensive training both in the field as well as in our classrooms, conducting 56 training sessions last year alone!
Project management adheres to safety plans that are customized to each and every job’s requirements. This includes, but is not limited to:
- Pre- and Post-Task Meetings
- Electrical Construction Safety and Health Program Guidelines
- Weekly Safety Meetings
- Daily Equipment Pre-Use Inspection Sheets
- Construction Safety Checklists
- Emphasis on Personal Responsibility
Every year since 2015, we have been recognized for our commitment to safety by our peers through the Safety Training and Evaluation Process (STEP) awards from Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC). This award is a safety benchmarking and improvement tool, STEP has evolved into a world-class safety management system that dramatically improves safety performance among participants regardless of company size or type of work.
When you commit to the health and safety with your staff, you are ensuring an emphasis on quality, timelines and seamless teamwork.
